I love this shot! It was taken in low light, high iso, motion blur .....but I've printed it and it's hanging on my wall at work. It's so Bailey ...... full of light, life and energy.
Bailey and I collected at the Bridal Expo yesterday. No groom was available so she was a bridesmaid for the day, I was so proud of my baby. She 'networked' with the public all day even when she got very tired in the afternoon, she's way better at it than I am, I just stand in the background and hold the bucket! LOL She's just had her 10th birthday and, though she's very active and healthy, on a long day like this she does get tired. But she didn't stop 'greeting and meeting' her public till we left and headed home.

A few flower shots from yesterday at Nymet. One of the first really fine days of the season.......middle of the day, it was probably too hot to be taking pics, but I couldn't resist.
Had a quiet Christmas this year. Started the day down at the spca cleaning and feeding the animals with an awesome group of volunteers, then off to lunch with family and friends. Collected Bailey and headed home late in the afternoon planning on a nap to sleep off all the food but ...... got invited for more food (dinner) with my landlord and his family. Of course I said yes :D Wonderful way to spend the day.
Boxing Day I edited a couple of pics and uploaded them to iStock, cleaned the fish tanks and headed out to see some friends. Their daughter is an extremely talented bmx rider, great kid and a whole lotta fun.

What a priviledge it is to work with the kids at the centre, to be a part of their lives and watch them grow into fine young adults. I don't have children of my own, so for me it's really cool!!!

Would love to know where I can improve it, tough c&c please. The removal of dark circles was the darkest ..... trying to match the skin tonings so you couldn't see what I'd done.
Of course I couldn't resist another play .......
18. We've got another fundraising BBQ on the weekend so there was a sack of
onions to be cut up and bagged. Someone came up with the theory that if
you cut off the bottom end the smell/oils didn't make you cry .....
t'aint true!

Busy at work with a combination of kitten season and the pre-Christmas chaos and it's hot and sticky! Photo was one of the kittens in the cattery for the local Pet of the Week article overlayed with a 'zoom in the room' shot (me playing round with slow shutter and zooming in and out)
